Hi Mary
I did post concerning John "Lick Creek" Cameron
He's my brick wall
John was born 1740 (from headstone)
place unk
d. 1807 age 67 from headstone
buried in Healing Springs NC
John "seems' to have no connection with the Highland Scot Camerons of Cape
Fear
So Im pursuing the possibility he came down the wagon road
from Penn to Salisbury area which is very near where they (son Absalom and
he)
show up in 1790 Rowan census.
Weve spoke before
and I have more to discuss if you wish.
As for Daniel
It doesnt ring a bell
However
There is a John Cameron will I found in Va
in 1850
naming 3 sons
an Absalom, Thomas, MAYBE??? Daniel
and some 3 daughters
I believe this is the Grainger Tn clan
Also I recall an older Rev. John Cameron in Va
Anxious to talk more

Subject: [CAMERON] lost info
A while ago there were two e-mails concerning a Lick Creek John
Cameron
of
North Carolina and a Daniel Cameron married to Anne Browne, I think,
who
came
from Virginia. I thought that I had saved them in a folder but when
I
went
to retrieve them, they were gone. I believe they were from Thom
Cameron.
I
would very much appreciate it if the information could be resent and
would
also be thankful for any other information regarding the Virginia
Camerons.
Thank you very much. Mary Conley
