Can anyone tell me if there is a similar book for the period from 1855
to 1900? My great-grandfather's brother, Dr John Cameron, and his
family (originally from Fort William)left the UK for Cape Breton, Nova
Scotia, sometime around 1884/85. The census for Inverness county, Nova
Scotia, in 1891 shows that John and his family were living in Port Hood.
John died on 5th June 1914, aged 84, and is buried, along with other
members of his family, at Cemetery Road, Port Hastings in Cape Breton.
Does this ring any bells for anyone?
Thanks,
Charles Cameron
