Hi all, a little excerpt for the book THE HIGHLAND SCOTS COMING TO AMERICA,
featuring the CAMERONS is about James HOGG. The book talks about James
HOGG and that he was a tacksman form Caithness. He was also a owner of the
ship named Bachelor, and he brought both passengers and goods over to
America. This is such an exciting book and a good read. It tells about the Cape
Fear River and when the Highland Scots starting settling along the river.
I would like to make that journey down that river just like they did one
day. How brave these Highland Scots were.
