The list has been quiet lately so I thought I would post my ongoing brick
wall again.
I'm STILL looking for John J. Cameron b. 5/1/1845 in Canada. I have him
between the years of 1869 and 1892. I would like to know where he was born,
his parents names and where and when he died. John Married Permelia Lyons in
Mille Lacs Co. Greenbush twp. in 1869. I believe that he had a brother
Daniel with him that was 2 years older and died from typhoid in 1869. John
and Permelia had children, Addie b. 1874, Amos (Fred) b. 1877, John Jr. b.
1879 and Elvie birthdate unknown. Addie became Addie Wallace. Mr Wallace
came from Duluth. She married sometime around 1898. In 1900 her younger
sister Elvie was living with the new couple which prompts me to believe that
both John J. Cameron and Permelia were dead by that time. In 1897 "Millie"
is listed in the Minneapolis directory as the widow of John.
I do not know any offspring from John Jr. or Elvie (Cooper). I do know that
Addie had a daughter Mildred Wallace.
Fred moved to Robinson, ND. and married and had my grandfather.
I just recieved a call today from the local FHC that the Minneapolis death
index film is hear for me to look at. I hope you will all pray for me that I
find John J. Cameron and his wife Permelia (Millie) Cameron in the index and
put some closure to at least half of the story.
I hope everyone had a GREAT holiday.
With warm regards,
Dean Cameron
