I am researching Cameron's of Rowan/Davidson/Randolph NC
Up until lately I have been listening to other searchers opinion that
probably my line
migrated via the Great Wagon Trail from the Penn. area thru Virginia.
This would exclude the Harnett Cameron's who were Highlanders.
But very recently I became aware of a route inland from Cape Fear
where the Highland Scots arrived as early as 1739 and moved inland to
Barbeque.
This route goes within Very few miles of the settlement of my Cameron's.
I am trying either to link or eliminate these clans
and need someone to compare notes with.
Interested?

Hi Martha,
I am researching North Carolina Camerons. Do you have any from the
Harnett
County or Barbeque NC area?
