Thanks Dean, for noting the interest I share with Peg: you wrote:
Peg (and I think Alec) are related through the Sutherlands. James

James Malcolm Cameron.
I am not aware of any Sutherland connection in MY family, but I have been helping
Peg. She came to visit us in OZ and my wife took her to see a memorial inside St
Georges Church Sydney, in honour of her Rev Dr Sutherland who was a top
Presbyterian preacher here in the 1800s.
James Malcolm Cameron bn 1913 was a prolific writer on Scots immigrants to NS etc
etc. The LDS Catalogue describes at least five of his books.
As Alec would say,
Cheers,
I think I copied that salutation from Kerry McCandlish in Benbecula, we used to
communicate on FIDONET the grandpa of INTERNET. In those days there were more
than 10 000 ISPs, all FREE, run by volunteers who paid the phone charges too.
Benbecula is one of the Western Isles. Kerry was a pilot of target aircraft,
employed to be pursued by NATO fighters there. A Fun life!!
Seeya!
