According to my family's genealogy records, I am related to the Richard
Cameron who organized the Sanquhar Declaration. The intervening
generations, however, are not well-documented and I am looking for some
help. I have no record of a wife or spouse for him. The son through
which I am related is Michael, but I have no birthdate, deathdate, or
spouse listed for him. His son is listed as Donald, born in 1710, but
that is all. From Donald, I have a John Canady Cameron (born 1741) and
a Simon Cameron
born 1746 and died in 1789. Simon was married to Jean Frazer (born
1750). They had a son, James Cameron for whom I have no information
except the wife, a Marie E. Villier who was born in Canada. After her,
the information starts clearing up, as I have three children listed from
them, Issac Cameron, Robert Adolphus Cameron (b. 1804 in Ontario,
Canada, d. 1857 in Venice, OH.), and Molly Cameron. Robert Adolphus
married Mary Bone and they had quite a few children (If anyone wants a
list, I can type it up), resulting in Fred Cameron, my g-g grandfather.
If anyone can help me clear up the intervening path, I would be quite
grateful.
Robert
