I have been trting to make contact with the board but they do not accept my password

I wish to say that my line Participant #29230 Clan Cameron DNA resultts show exact first
gene lines except fot the 4th #. Mine is #10. All others the exact same.
I am searching for the parentage of Charles Cameron b 1783, said to be Inverness-shire,
Scotland. He was of Clan Lochiel. I have about four scenarios of how he got to
Montreal,Quebec. That is where at age 7 in 1790 he was enlisted as a Drummer in the 26th
of Foots Cameronian Regiment.
When I first learned of this family in 2002,I also learned to use the computer (just all i
need to do this, I add) I am 86 and anxious to fine this imformation. I have data since
1790, including documentation of pay sheets and muster rolls where he served in PQ. his
marriage, will, tombstone,
his children . This family was of the Fassiefern Branch and must surely be connected to
your family with only a -1 distance.
He might have been a bastard child, but family lore says his father was a soldier .
I continue to work on this and at this time I am leaning toward the Revolutionary War and
the 84th reg. who settled in Glengarry. However there is such a repetition of names it is
nigh impossible. I thought I'd let you know that a Canadian is in the circle. There
are about nine or so Camerons on the list with the first line of gene markers
matching .
