I just happened on this message when cleaning up my stuff.
I cannot recall if I saw that Canada page or if it is a general comment.
However, you mention Nova Scotia Camerons and wishing for
organization. I have been and am keen to sort out the Camerons.
Some of us through Clan Cameron North America, have had 37 or 67
DNA markers done. We find we are close. Those came from Nova Scotia.
You mention having documentation back to Scotland which is what we seek.
Would you please share your area in Scotland? Mine is Fort William ,
Inverness-shire.Those from Nova Scotia who are close in DNA are likewise.
We would be happy to share with you so we can check it out. I am the lone
one
in Canada, it seems, and the others are spread around the USA.
I shall be happy to hear from you, so we ccan either eliminate or move
ahead.
Thanks so much!

I, too, am glad to see a Cameron Canada Page and new organizations.
It
would be great if some of the many Nova Scotia Camerons would organize.
Half of
my family is also from Nova Scotia.and we have our genealogical history
documented back a couple of generations in Scotland. Do I have a cousin
in
California? Perhaps so.
