it and i really think we have been in touch before this.
Perhaps some of your ancestors were in the Revolutionary War. Do you know that? If they
were , one could look up Military lists and muster rolls for certain regiments. Google is
a wonderful site. You do not mention the year of Merchant Cameron's birth or death.
Have you looked up any Census ? Sir Ewen Cameron had land in New Jersey and the family
has been found in many places in 1600, 1700's.
One thing about the Lochiel Camerons , is that many records have been kept and books
written about their heritage. However, not all names are listed, even though one knows
family lore. They are part of Burke's Peerage. Do you belong to Clan-Cameron? Have
