I am trying to find out some information about my grandfather's (George Cameron
Bisset) uncle, James D. Cameron from originally from Monifieth Scotland (b Sept 12,
1858) and who emigrated to Boston, the Roxbury area. His parents were Ann Donald and
Thomas Cameron. I had found out he worked somehow with alters in churches, When my
grandfather came over to the US from Scotland in 1925 (my grandmother and mother came over
in 1926 through Boston), he stayed with James. I believe I have found James'
naturalization information from
Ancestry.com and it is number 242-114, October 24, 1893.
I can't remember the name of his wife or his children, or if he even had children, if
I was ever told that information. And everyone who could remember that is gone now. I
would like to find out his wife's name and the kids' name, if any. I think there
were some other Scottish relatives in New York by the name of James White, who had a son
James White Jr
and daughter Georgina White. Apparently, James White was a cousin of my grandfather.
Obviously, there must be a million James Whites in New York in the 1920's or early
1930's, so that's probably a wash out.

Finish every day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and
absurdities crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall
begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old
