Hello listers:
Who accompanied Dr. Archibald back to Scotland before his beheading?
Information I have seen says," a ist cousin" , but no name. I am trying to trace a relative. Thank you.

I just thought I would ask if you are familiar with a Margaret
Cameron birth abt 1890 give or take I cant find her anywhere online.
She moved to Canada. From what I know she had 5-6 brothers and some
died in the war, they lived west of Fort Williams someone said she
was the neice of the Lochiel of Cameron but families tell stories and
my history is not that great so I dont know if that is important or
not. thank you

Message Board Post:
Hi,
i am the great granddaughter of Stark General Cameron (general is his
middle name) it is family story that he is related to General John
Stark, American Revolutionary war hero; Hence the name "Stark
General" that his parents gave him. However, i have not proved this
or found out the connection. Stark changed his name to John Stark
Cameron. (he kept his surname the same)
John stark was born to Helen M. Bonekemper (who through her mother M.
Iona Bridges is also supposed to be related to rev. war general j.
stark) and Guy E Cameron, on 18 Nov 1913, in Victoria B.C., Canada.
However later on John had to prove his eligibility for US citizenship
because both his parents were born in the USA. Helen was born in
Sutton, NE in 1888. Guy Cameron was born ABT 1887 in possibly
Nebraska too. John S. Cameron grew up in Sutton, NE with his parents,
then later with his uncle Ivan Bonekemper.
I am trying to find more about the Cameron side of my family, however
this is very difficult for me because Guy Cameron left Helen
Bonekemper when John s. Cameron and his 3 siblings were young; so the
family doesn't know much.
What i know from my aunt is that Guy E Cameron's parents were Don
Cameron and Mary Duncan (Mary was b. in Sutton, Ne) she attended
Doane College in Crete NE and they met there. Don owned a restaurant
in Omaha, NE and was of Scottish decent..(most of this paragraph
comes from my aunt's genealogy research notes). Supposedly too, one
of my Cameron relatives fought in the american civil war. Currently i
am working on seeing if my great aunt has john s. cameron's birth
certificate.
John Stark Cameron died in Napa, Napa Co, CA, USA on 10 Mar 2001
Any information on any of the mentioned people would be Greatly
appreciated, or if you think we may have a connection please contact
me through this website, my email alaina7a7(a)yahoo.com, or with my

I am searching for Charles CAMERON, who, in December 1945, was a U.S.
Army Soldier working as a Cook in Heidelberg, Germany. I estimate he
was born around 1927. If you know of any information that would help
me find him, I would appreciate it very much.
