Hello Jo,
I really have very little and nothing on Emily Cameron. Recently went to Kentucky and found George W. Farris headstone. Send me your email address and I'll send you a copy.
>From Wilson ours goes to George Washington (Buddy) Farris (in Iowa) to his daughter Jennie Farris who married a Reynolds then a Hendrix to hubby's Dad Hendrix.
I am trying to get some history typed up and willing to share. Have you checked out the Janet Combs website? She has some Farris family members.

Hi Tamara,
It sure looks like our husbands are cousins, we have the same line.
Bob, Virgil, John, Wilson, George, Moses, James Esom, Henry and Ian.
Do you have any info on Evaline McGowen? wife of George? and or any info on Ian and his wife Emily Cameron???
Let me know if you have any questions, perhaps we can help each other.
Happy hunting, JO Farris

Hi all,
I live in Loveland, Colorado, and while at our local library I came across
"History of Larimer County, Colorado" 1911 by Ansel Watrous.
This book has LOTS of wonderful biographies about people in the 1800's and
early 1900's that settled in Larimer County. MANY of these people
came from other parts of the country, plus from many other countries
(Scotland, England, etc.)
If you are receiving this, a person with your surname is listed in
the index of this book. I will have this book at home until July 1
when it is due, but
I will gladly look further to see what info I can find for you.
I can do a look up and respond to you, I guess at that time we can
decide if you
would like me to copy the specific page and send it to you.
I sure hope this info helps someone in their search for family info.
Good Luck...
Christene Geis in Loveland CO

Donald,
I must have missed the original message. What John Cameron are you looking
for and what war? There is a Revolutionary War (US) soldier named John Cameron
who moved to White County, Tennessee. If he's the one you're looking for,
I'm interested in his family.
Thanks in advance,
Sandy in Sacramento

Hi Jack,
We are descendants of Peter Cameron through his and Julia (Juliana) son William Wallace. I just recently made the connection to Peter. Although I connect to Peter, I don't have a connection to his brothers and sisters or parents. Can you help me on the siblings and brothers and sisters. We have a family story that 5 brothers left Scotland and came to Bath NY. Three of them stayed in NY and started their own towns - Cameron, East Cameron. Our ancestor William Wallace settled on a farm in Ackley, Iowa. I have more information on this story, but you probably have better information.
I would love to hear from you and I am happy to share information.
