I have Cambrons buried in Bell Factory, Madison County, AL. Is that location
close to yours?
I also have newspaper clippings of my Cambron family living in Lincoln
County, Tn and visiting relatives in New Market.

HI John,
The Cameron Cemetery that I referenced, is in
Northwest Madison County, near a community of
New Market, in Hurricane Valley.
I want to also correct myself, my generation that
I reference was John, George, and Susan A.

I could be mistaken, but we may have a connection
with Camerons in Woodville, Jackson County, AL,
which in a guess is only about 20-25 miles away.
Hope this helps,
Jackie McMinn
Jim,
I am a descendant of Henry Cameron that settled near Woodville, Jackson
County, Alabama, sometime around the early 1830's, and also lived in
Marshall and Madison Counties at different times. I am familiar with the
Austin-Cameron Cemetery in the northern part of Jackson County, but I am
unaware of a Cameron Cemetery in Madison County. Could you please give me an
idea of where it may be located.
Thank you,
John W. Cameron

HI Liz,
Thanks for the response, and the Camerons are
a mystery for me, as I only have one generation.
It was said in family history, that they came from
South Carolina, but not proven yet, but I spend much
of my time working on McMinn, and did find a missing
GGGrandfather, who married Susan Cameron, after an
aunt had searched for about 35-40 years.
Name spellings do vary, and throws one off path
sometimes, but we all go thru that, don't we?
I'm in Huntsville, Alabama, about 20 miles from the
homesite and a family graveyard is there, but not sure if
my GGGrandmother is buried there, there are only two
tombstones, and several rock markers.
Send me what clues you have,
Jackie McMinn ( A He Type)
I am also descended from some of the Alabama Camerons/Cambrons. The names
George and William are abundant in my family tree. My branch migrated to Benton
County, AL around 1850 from Paulding County, GA. I would be glad to share
with you what I know.

HI Folks,
My intoduction, as requested, is as follows:
Jackie McMinn ( A He type)
Huntsville, Alabama, USA
Former List Manager of Cameron-L
Genealogy Researcher
My finding show that Susan Cameron, My GGrandmother,
married Andrew McMinn in March of 1855, in Madison County,
Alabama.
Census records show that she had 2 older brothers, with
families, George and William, in the 1860 Census, in Madison
County, Born in Tennessee, but no listing of parents.
They are previously listed in 1850 Census in Marshall
County, one county over to the East, which the Tennessee
River divides the 2 counties.
My thinking is that they might have landed in South Carolina
or maybe North Carolina, and flew by helicopter to Tennessee.
Or, did they have helicopters in 1850? LOL
Any help appreciated,
Jackie
HI Folks,
I'm still working on brick walls, Cameron's of Alabama,
were in Marshall County, Alabama by 1850, and Madison
county by mid 1850.
There is a Cameron Cemetery in Madison County, but have
no information, but do have a location.
I work mainly on McMinn ancestors, but have a GGrandmother,
Susan Cameron, born in AL, no parents listed, but 2 brothers,
George and William.
Thanks,
Jackie McMinn
