I have a picture of Lessie Cameron taken late 1800s or early 1900s. She lived in Tuscaloosa, Al and died about 1912. I don't know if she is a relative or not. If anyone would like to have a copy I will send them one.

I may have some information on your Charles Cameron. Will have to look
up the dates. Not a member of my immediate branch though.

Hi ????
I saw your posting on the Cameron's. I have a great-great-aunt who was from
DuBois, Illinois and married a Charles Cameron. I really do not know where
this Charles was from or anything else about him. My aunts name was Stella
Rebecca McKenzie. She married six times: Dial, Friend, Johnson, Cameron,
Patton and White. She was born in 1895 in DuBois. Do you know anything more
about your Charles Cameron?

The following information has been supplied by a friend without internet capability right now. It includes other names, but perhaps the whole will ring bells in someone's ears - I hope so.
My father was William Drysdale born in1905 in Glencraig or Lochgelly,Fife. Mother was Ellen(nee Smith) born Lumphinnans Farm, Cowdenbeath, Fife. Dad was born on March 1st. and Mum on October 2nd these above years. I don't know a lot about my dad's side except that his Father was also William and his mother Helen (nee Inglis).
Grandmother on my Mum's side was Marion Mitchell Stewart, her mother was a Cameron and before that I believe there was a connection somwhere with a Martin in the Lothians I think.
On her Smith side (her husband was Thomas who left sometime and went to New Zealand where he died). My grandmother remained with her family in Scotland and brought up her family of five another two died young - one about 16 in an accident and the other about two in a drownning tragedy on the farm.
Email me direct if you like.
Thanks.

Well, you said not to give up.............I have about decided to do just
that. I can
trace my other family lines back into the 1400s and even beyond in some
cases,
My brother just before he died, asked that I would not give up..........but
now
I feel that I might as well. I have given it several years and have not
budged beyond
1812-1815.

Brenda,
Hopefully you have the same email as you had back in 2000. I am Gloria Rubush's daughter. My mother passed away on February 14th. I know that Richard Higgs came to the funeral home but I did not get the chance to talk to him. I was wondering if you could give me some information. I am trying to put our family tree together. I know that your Grandmother was my Great great Aunt Roxie. I was wondering if you know when she passed away and if you have any stories that you would like to share so that I may put them in the document. I remember Aunt Roxie, she watched me and my siblings when my mother went to court to get custody of us from my father. Please respond when you have a moment.
Thanks,
Denise Young
P.S. Also if you can give me any other information about Richard and Gladstone (birth dates and so on) I would appreciate it.
