Hellooo to you, My Cameron was Archibold Cameron B. 1812 in N.C. came
to Choctow Co. Ms . He married Lucy Harvey the dau. of Thomas Harvey a
Mississippi Choctaw Indian. Rena
And also Helloooo,
I am still searching for info on Murdock Cameron b. 1800 in either Scotland
or N.C. He supposedly came to Georgia from N.C. and his second wife was a
Flora McDonald Bruce. Hearsay was that there were two brothers who came to
West Central Georgia to settle and Murdock ended up in Harris County Georgia.
I have a list of his children but can go no farther back than either Murdock
or Flora.
Georgia from Georgia
I just thought I would give all my Cameron brothers and sisters a Howdy! I
have been making some great progress with other surnames in my family as well
as many of my wife's surnames. Lyons, Clark, Breitling, Walker, Lewis,
Stuller, Holly, White, Guyette, Smith, Shuttleworth, Lyman, Loerch and a few
more. I am still stumped on John J. Cameron and his family. I know someday
I will find the secret door that leads to more family, but until then I am
enjoying the successes of finding other elusive people. I hope all of you
are well and finding your "Brick Wall's".
All the Best, Dean Cameron
