Alana,
Yes, I have a Russell Cameron. I do not have any dates on him but the parents
of my Russell Cameron are William Cameron and Jane Dearman. If this is yours,
let me know because I have his siblings too. I too am having alot of trouble
tracing this family!

Hello Lorna,
I am researching some Cameron's from So. MS. Did you know that Marion Co MS
split sometime in the 1880's and became Lamar and Forrest Co ? My Camerons
are all from Lamar Co., but I have only gotten as far back as @ 1860 or so to
a Russell Cameron. I know that you are researching earlier, but do you have a
Russell Cameron? I have really hit a dead-end with this bunch. Thanks
Alana

Hello Everyone on the Cameron-L list!
My name is Lorna and I live in Louisiana. I am trying to find some Cameron
ancestors that lived in Liberty, Marion County South Carolina then moved to
Marion County, Mississippi. I have 8 siblings and their spouces, of which 2
that I know of was born somewhere in SC and some born in MS. I am having a
hard time trying to find out who these siblings parents are. The Siblings
are:
Jesse Cameron b.abt. 1800 m. Lavina Stanford (I believe he was born in SC)
William b. 1822 m. Jane Dearman
Lecy b. 1800-1810 m. William Roach
Alexander b abt. 1810 m. Drucella Dearman(Sister to Jane) (I believe he was
born in SC)
Winny b. 1813 m. James P. Duncan
Elizabeth (Eliza) b. 1819 m. William Conerly (had other husbands)
Alford b. 1820
Mary Caroline b. 1825 m. James Bilbo
There is a possibility that the father of these sibling's name is Lavender and
all I know of the mother is here first name is Hester
If anyone has any of these siblings, please contact me. I desperately need
some help.

Still looking for Camerons from Kent and Lambton Co.'s in Ontario and
Michigan Camerons originally from Kent and Lambton Co.'s.
I have found more information (and you seem to have quite a bit) by contacting the Town Cerk in the town in which the
incidents too place..marriages, births, deaths...in very small towns there is usually a local historian who can be of great
help to you.
