H.A. CAMERON
BRIDGEVILLE - Hoyes A. Cameron, 71, of this
community, died Tuesday evening at home.
Born in Bridgeville he was a son of the late John and Annie (Cameron) Cameron.
He was a member of the Bridgeville United Church
and past president of Eureka Legion.
Mr. Cameron retired in 1972 as a land surveyor
with the Department of Lands and Forests
and was a life member of the Nova Scotia Land Surveyors Association.
Surviving besides his wife, the former Kathleen
Fraser; are a daughter, Katherine
(Mrs. Brian Campbell), New Glasgow; a son,
Brian, Bridgeville; two grandchildren.
Also surviving are two sisters, Hilda (Mrs. A. W. MacDonald), Rhode Island;
Jessie (Mrs. W.W. Battilana), Massachusetts; two brothers, Elbridge, Eureka;
Douglas, Bridgeville. He was predeceased by two sisters.
The remains are resting at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home with visiting
after 7 o'clock this evening. Funeral service
will be held Friday at 2 o'clock from the
Bridgeville United Church.
Interment will be in the Bridgeville Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Heart Fund.
