I was wondering whether anyone could tell me in which country the
CAMBERs in Vermont, and the northeastern states in general, originated.
Did they, like my own family, have their roots in Lithuania?

Hi Ken
I don't know if anyone has answered yet, but I do not know. I know that there
are a lot of CAMBERS living in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick area, Perhaps
they came from Europe and settled there first. Also there was a James CAMBER
that came to Americain 1773 and a William CAMBER and they went to Maryland.
Lots of CAMBERS listed in England too. If all CAMBERS in the USA are from the
same family, this I do not know.
