I did a little research before I posted back to you. The answer is, no, I do not tie to
this family.
Here is what I found about your ancestors:
Asa C. Campbell, born in Ashe, NC or Iredell, NC 12/9/1804. I have also seen 1805. But,
I have seen the 1804 date several times over. His wife's name was Rebecca Jane
Curtis
His parents were James Campbell and Rebecca Linville. I have also seen her name spelled
Rebekah. So, who knows?
Asa and Rebecca had 13 children, some born in TN and some in MO.
Their son, Sampson David Campbell, born 1842 in MO, married twice, Rachel first, no
children, and Sarah E. Nigh with J.L. Campbell and Rebecca Campbell born in MO.
I saw these family trees on
Ancestry.com and there were e-mail addresses that were posted.
You may wish to contact them.
RAdams38(a)aol.com and dwbaker(a)juno.org. and dondave(a)juno.com.
I didn't really see anything on the David family.
My Campbells were in Butler, PA and there are so many Campbells, James, Williams,
Rebeccas, I can't keep them all straight.
I hope you can tie your family ends together.
Louisa
