Bellinda -
According to the stuff we all compiled a while back (which is still online
at
http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~morgan/calvit/calvit.txt), Raymond is a
brother to the first Jean you mention below. This would mean that Isabeau
should be Raymond's mother, not his wife. We'll just have to see what Eric
meant when he replies.

Hi, Morgan and all,
Thanks, again, Morgan, for your message. Also, I wanted to ask if Raymond
CALVET that you mention is the same individual as Pierre CALVET? Is he known
as Pierre Raymond CALVET or Raymond Pierre CALVET? Or are there
discrepancies with the names? I haven't seen the name of Raymond before. It
appears that I descend from Antoine/Anthony CALVET/CALVIT and Mrs. Mary DEAN
CALVIT HIGDON from Elizabeth CALVIT whom is perceived to have been their
daughter and married John FORD and were the parents of Henry FORD who married
Mary BUCKLES, daughter of Abram BUCKLES, aka Abraham BUCKHOLTS, Jr.

Hi, Calvits -
Exciting news! Maybe some of you also heard from him -
I received email from Eric Leonard in Paris. He said he is a direct
descendant of Isabeau Pages and Raymond Calvet. He doesn't have any more
information that us concerning their ancestors, but he said he will send me
information on their French descendants. I'm anxious to see what he has.
You'll catch right off that our generations may be a little different from
his since his implication is that Isabeau Pages and Raymond Calvet were
married, but we'll see how it all works out.
I'll let you know what he says, and I'm inviting him to join this list.
I say we all need to connect with these French cousins so we can plan a
visit <g>.
