Liz--do you know the last name of Zelpha--could she have been a cousin of
Thomas--I read somewhere that Zelpha may have been a daughter of William Calvit
(my great great great grandfather) and Phoebe Crawford--the name is unusual
(Zelpha)--seems too much of a coincidence that there would be two women named
that--but purely conjecture on my part--now I am looking at my notes--if Zelpha
was William's child--she would be Thomas's niece--perhaps Zelpha was named after
her Aunt Zelpha--now I am having a blonde moment--smile--anyway good morning,
cousins--Laura Calvit

I have that Thomas {son of Anthony and Mary (Dean) Calvit} married 1)
Zelpha,
married 2) Hulda in 1819. Thomas would have been around 70 years of age.
However, I do have that one child Elizabeth Lucretia, was born to this
marriage. Hulda had married 1) John Vanderwall sometime before 1799 and
married 2) John Scott Covington on 3 Mar 1800. I have no clue to what
Hulda's maiden name was.
Y'all please let me know if any of this is incorrect!
