If you will note the spelling of the name of John Ford who married into the
Buckels family on the Oath of Loyality you will note it is spelled
Foord--typical of the French Fords. Kate

It certainly makes sense that the FORDs that married into the
CALVIT/CALVET
line might very well have been FORD/FAURE named French Huguenots as
the
CALVIT/CALVET line is........so.....makes sense that there were be that
connection when they came to this country. And they could still be FORDs
that came from England, as Jean CALVIT/CALVET did, after having gone to
England from France and could have changed the spelling from FAURE to FORD
before coming to America.
