Hi, Kate,
Thanks very much for your help. I think you are misunderstanding something
though.....I am not trying to 'Keep Claiming Joseph FORD' as my
ancestor......I don't even know who Joseph FORD was or wasn't at this
point......and simply had responded to an earlier message that was written
asking me, specifically, about Hester FORD.....I was not trying to say that I
was opposed to your information which may be perfectly accurate......I was
simply telling her what information that I had as she had asked.
It is only this past week that I had finally received information regarding
the ancestry of my 4th great grandfather, Henry FORD, born: 1790 in Natchez,
MS, who married Mary Ann BUCKELS.....and I have simply been interested in
sorting through the information sent to me and trying to ascertain the
correctness of all of that information. Since the information that I was
sent which informed me that Joseph FORD was the father of my John D. FORD and
a list of other children I have just been setting out trying to verify any of
that.......as that is all I have to go on at this point.....but I thought
that was what we are here in this forum to do.....????
I am not the least bit interested in going down the wrong path in any of my
lines....and if your concern is that this particular Joseph FORD is of some
'lofty' stature of which I am unaware.....that is of absolutely no interest
to me whatsoever ......as I have found an extensive amount of verifiable
ancestors on every side of my family that were in the Revolutionary War and
of noble and royal lineage to the extreme! I don't need any more! <lol>
I just want to find the correct ancestry......very plain and very simple.
Thanks again for your help.
Sincerely,
Bellinda Myrick - Barnett >>
