NC--I will have to go back to the Ford papers--there is, as with everything
else, several sides to the issues presented--but the Ford family is pretty
well documented back to James Ford in early 1700's--I will get back to you.
At the moment, I don't recall who Robert Ford's first wife was--his second
wife is the one covered by his will. A lot of the stuff I have on the fords
was developed with two other people in MS and I put a paper (working
document type) on file in Franklin County Library. Frankly, I get burnt out
on one line and then I work on anotrher for a while. Part are on computer
bu t much is pencil and paper. But I will get back to you on the Fords. I
find that a lot of the families have been researched up to MS but not a lot
of the lines have been traced in MS. So much of my work is documentation
of MS files. Right now I am busy trying to sort out Mullins family lines in
MS from `1810 to 1850--

Kate!
THANK YOU! Are we talking about North or South Carolina? (I live in
North
Carolina.) Sometimes the Carolina was not specified. Do you know
who
Hester's mom was, by the way?
I appreciate your answering my question so quickly! If I can help you on
anything in NC let me know!
