I have several copies of Claude W. Calvin's "The Calvin Families." There
is
no mention of your Isabella Calvin Fenton from Ireland in this book. I
checked the 1860 census for Isabella and husband Robert Fenton. It looked
like it said she was born in Ir. Tara - Tara is in Co. Meath. What did you
make it out to be? I research all Calvins/Colvins but have no information
on your Isabella who apparently must have come here after 1850 but before
1860. I couldn't find her in the 1900 census - too bad because that would
give an about year of her arrival here. Marilyn [lynden(a)goldrush.com]

Hello William,
Can you tell me what Calvin lines this book traces? I have an Isabella
Calvin Fenton who came from Ireland. The earliest I have found her so far
is on the 1860 census for Monmouth Co., NJ with her husband Robert Fenton.
They were living with relatives - John L. Ivins family.
