I do not know anything directly about Isabella (Calvin) Fenton, but have
been researching Calvins from Northern Ireland into New Brunswick, Canada
(my branch) for many years. You'll notice that the census enumerator on
that 1860 Monmouth County NJ census had a little difficulty spelling the
Irish county names. He listed one on the same page as "Limerig" and on
other pages wrote "Furmana" and "Tare" and some other unrecognizable
words
as county names. I believe this last is an attempt to spell "Derry" as is,
I suspect, the birthplace of Isabella (Calvin) Fenton.
Many Calvin families can be traced back to Co. Derry, as can mine from the
Coleraine area.
