Hi y'all FYI.
I have some old notes from 1991 when I was listing some
places to look for more information on the Calvert family.
These listings were from an organization/society encyclopedia.
I don't recall the name of the 3 book set. (Before I was much into listing
my sources) Anyone using the information REMEMBER it was from
1991 some things change like phone numbers of the contact person
listed usually changes from year to year.
Along with the Society of the Ark & Dove.
I listed the Hereditary Order of the Descendants of the Colonial Governors
Society of Americans of Colonial Descent
National Society of Descendants of the Lords of the Maryland Manors
National Society , Sons of the American Revolution
Order of First Families of Virginia
I scanned my notes and the list can be viewed at URL
http://members.iquest.net/~gcalvert/images/ORGS.JPG
case sensitive on ORGS.JPG - - - 163k scan... !
Sorry, I have been experiencing health problems the last three
years and I have never investigated any of the organizations listed.
Hope this is of help to some.
Cheers
