Carrie Belle Calvert, my grandmother, was born June 27, 1867, Plainfield, IND
died Indianapolis, Ind. She had in a trunk, I remember a newspaper (1 page)
printed on wallpaper telling of the assassination of Lincoln. I believe I
was only about 10 years old when she showed me that fabulous. Whatever
happened to that trunk of history I do not know nor her bibles with family
information in it. She passed away in a convalescent home. She was a
Christian Scientist in faith.
I know she had one brother in Minneapolis MN and one in Galveston, TX - He was
the Calvert of the Flood and Calvert Ships Chandlery. I would also
appreciate any information on them.
Any information, about the Mobile Al gggrandparents, especially and RI
information
back to MD would be gratefully appreciated.
