I guess this makes Valentine and Anne my 9th ggrandparents.
Thanks for the email. I have a lot of "iffy" stuff in my database.
It's virtually impossible to prove everything ..... definitely not
enough time in my life- time to do so. But, I always note in my
sources that this is the case. Maybe, when my children inherit my
research, they can prove what I didn't get around to.
Really would appreciate what you have on the Calverts. Thanks again
for your help!
A Cuz,
Carolyn Hodges

Hey, Carolyn:
Valentine and Anne Calvert Hollingsworth are my ancestors, too
(8g-grandparents).
I have Anne's parents as Thomas Calvert (b. c. 1617 in Armagh,
Ireland; d.
2/17/1685 in New Castle, DE) and Jane Glasford (b. c. 1620-1626 in
Ireland;
d. after 1685, probably in DE). I have information about the
Calverts and the
Hollingsworths going back another four generations - although a lot
of it is
"iffy". I'd be glad to share. I'm off to work now,
so I'll get back
to you
later.
How are you descended from Valentine and Anne?
Terry
