For the past year or so I've been working on a written project about the
Calverts as a gift for the family I luckily married into. Too long to be
called an essay and too short to merit being called a book, it is an effort
to go beyond a recitation of birth and death dates, court and land records
by attempting to decribe the social and historical circumstances surrounding
the rise of Sir George Calvert and the evolution of the generations that
followed as our particular family line migrated into Kentucky.
In an effort to make it as worthwhile as possible before printing it out for
the family, I've _temporarily_ posted it to a web site and (with a great
deal of nervousness... but a thick skin to protect me) would appreciate (I
think...) any comments, input and / or criticism from my colleagues. There
are e-mail links at the top of each page.
Just one request: I've never composed a web page before, and may never do so
again, so please concentrate on the contents and not the quality of the page
design.
"The Calvert Chronicles" are located at:

Thanks.
