I found this entry very interesting. I have an Elizabeth Calvert married to
a Ludwig Bricker. Ludwig died 1815 Washington Cnty PA. Elizabeth (Calvert)
Bricker died 1840 Knox Cnty, OH. I believe all their children were born in
PA.
The name PRITCHETT is also in my family.
Rachell Bricker b Oct 1791 was the daughter of Ludwig and Elizabeth (Calvert)
Bricker she married John HalPruner son of Paul HalPruner and Elizabeth
(Beall)
daughter of Zephaniah Beall and Keziah (PRITCHETT) both from Maryland married
in PA.
I would love to link Elizabeth Calvert, she was born abt 1760 possibly PA
parents are unknown.
Any help is appreciated,
Thank you, Marcus

Marcus,
Your Elizabeth Calvert is about the right age to be the daughter of Thomas
Calvert and Charity Grubb. Thomas and Charity were married 1747 in Chester
Co., Pa and must have gone west to East Pennsboro in Cumberland Co. ca 1764.
Thomas died not long after that. Records in 1771 show that his widow,
Charity, remarried William Miller (1769). They had two daus: Hannah and
Elizabeth (the younger dau.)
Hannah m 1767 Isaac Worrall, her 1st cousin.
In 1773 Isaac Worrall had paid and givin security for the payment of the widow
dower and the part or share of the younger child. Then on May 22, 1783 it was
recorded that: the widow, Charity was paid 29 pounds, 8 shillings and 2
pence. Elizabeth and Hannah received the same amount. I don't know why such a
long time elapsed before the payment. Anyway I am wondering if they did not
then move on westward. I have reason to believe that Isaac went to Ohio first
and then Jefferson Co., Ky.
I would like to know more about your Beall family. Isaac Worral's sister,
Rebecca, m 1767Joseph Bell (or Ball/Beal).
Elizabeth Calvert was still unmarried in 1783.
Thanks,
