George and the Calvert Family:
The source of Judge Littell is from the CURRY DESCENDANTS he is quoting the
book The Coppage-Coppedge Family by Maxim/Manham. I have not been able to
locate a copy of this book to see their original notes.
If anyone knows how to obtain a copy I would like to get my hands on it.
Other than that I can not be of much help. I was a bit suprised to read in
the CURRY book that he quotes many other book reguarding the SEATON/KENNER
lines. All of which have been proven by other books from different authors.
Would like to know more.

Dear Grace and Calvert Study Group,
Grace, your recent message opens the door for
another branch of the Calvert clan. Certainly,
Lord Baltimore could have fathered a child
outside the bounds of wedlock. This information
about Matthew Rodham has not been previously
explored by this study group.
In part, your message is as follows:
Lord Baltimore was not married to (1)
Margaret GREY, daughter of Ralph Sir. GREY.
Margaret was born in of Chillingham, England.
Margaret also married Edmond RODHAM and had 5
children with him. Source: Found in the CURRY
Decendants by Judge Noble K. Littell.
Lord Baltimore and Margaret had the
following children: + 2 M i.
Matthew RODHAM was born 1620 and died 20 Mar
1671/1672.
Second Generation
2. Matthew RODHAM was born 1620 in
Yorkshire, England. He died 20 Mar 1671/1672
in St. Stephens, Northumberland, Virginia.
Notes: Matthew Rodham worked as a servant to
Leonard Calvert in 1633, Maryland until 28
Oct 1639. In 1642, He moved to Virginia.
Moved back to Maryland, 1643, Then back to
Virginia in 1650. In 1656 He was a Justice
for Northumberland, Virginia. He owned land
in both Maryland and Virginia. Source: CURRY
DESCENDANTSby Judge Noble K. Littell pp30

I am certain that everyone in the study group
would be most interested in discovering another
family line. Many of us are probably skeptical
due the lack of written records covering this
period of time. We don't even know the maiden
name of Lord Baltimore's second wife.
Does Judge Noble K. Littell have any type of
written evidence to prove Matthew Rodham is
indeed a son of Lord Baltimore? You have aroused
my curiosity and I would really like to know more
about this.
