You'all may already have this. I am cleaning out old email and found this. Sorry if
it's old news. Let me know. Vicki K
We have communicated in the past. My father was Lawrence W. Calvert b. 1907 in NE, d. 9
Dec 2004 in WA. I know our DNA's match not sure to what number though. I ordered
Dad's 67 marker test several months before he passed away, and it looks to me as
though he is a extact match Donald Joe Keys on that test.
You have sent me your family lines - what a great job you've done. I haven't sent
you my files though. I don't have anywhere near the information you have gathered. I
am at a "brick wall" with my 3rd grt grandfather - Charles C. Calvert b. 1803
somewhere in Virginia. He died 9 Dec 1880 in Fremont Co., Iowa. Believe he was married
at least 3 times. His first time to Anna Murfin, b. (?) d. (?), they m. 12 Sept 1823 in
Scioto Co., OH. They had a son, Reuben b. 10 Mar 1825 in Ohio, d. 1 Jul 1907 in Fremont
Co., Iowa
Charles's second marriage was to Sarah Scott, b. (?) d. (?), they m. 21 May 1829 in
Highland Co., OH. I believe they had seven children, one being my grt grandfather,
Hezekiah Calvert, b. 1833 in Highland Co., OH d. 9 May 1912 in Wahoo, NE.
Charles's 3rd marriage was to Elizabeth Taylor Folden, they m. 12 Jan 1846 in
Indiana.
Due to the naming practices of that time, I thought perhaps we may be connected through
Reuben. I have been in touch with Edwin Calvert and he thought the same. I think he is
connected to your Reuben also. I haven't heard from him in several months have you?
Sorry I took so long to get to you. Have had lots of computer problems and have been real
busy.
Look forward to hearing from you, a cousin in Oregon,
Helen Calvert Pierce
