I wonder if we could clarify the Belmont, Ohio references. Upon checking I
find Belmont County on the West Virginia border, and Belmont County was
established on September 7, 1801. This was 2 years before Ohio officially
became a state. Since this was deep in Indian Territory in 1720 and 1740
could these ancestors have been Virginians or were they definitely from
Pennsylvania?
I have these names and approximate dates in my files; as cousins to my
ancestor, George Calvert (the Younger) of Prince William County. There is
little substantial information about this particular George so any clue is
welcome.

I have a relative, John Calvert Sr., born 22 Feb 1766 in Pennsylvania and
died 26 Feb 1847. He was the father of John Jr., Job, Jacob and Sarah.
Married to Hetty Ester Jones.
John Jr. was married to Editha Beale in 1822.
John Sr, from what I know is the son of Rueben Calvert born in 1740
Belmont, Ohio. Rueben is the son of Cecilius Calvert born in 1720 also
born in Belmont, Ohio.
Hopefully this info is of some help. If any one has further information to
this it would be much appreciated.
