Terry D. Calvert, 52
MUNCIE - Mr. Terry D. Calvert, 52, a loving husband
and father, joined his Heavenly Father on Saturday,
January 8, 2005 at the Indiana University Medical
Center in Indianapolis after a brief illness.
He was born on August 25th, 1952, to Donald and
Marcella (Ashcraft) Calvert.
Terry Calvert was employed by the Delaware County
Highway Department, doing road construction for
sixteen years.
He was an avid outdoorsman and was ranked 35th in the
Boone and Crocket record book for having shot a twelve
point buck.
He attended Epworth United Methodist Church in
Matthews, IN.
Survivors include his wife of twenty-nine years,
Sharon Calvert of Muncie; his daughter, Lisa (husband,
Joshua) Lampkins of Pendelton, IN; his son, Matthew
Calvert of Muncie; two brothers, Michael (wife,
Christine) Calvert of Muncie and Robert (wife, Janet)
Calvert of Muncie; his father-in-law and
mother-in-law, Charles and Mabel Newlin of Matthews,
IN; his two sisters-in-law, Deborah (husband, Robert)
Grove of DeSoto, IN, and Pamela (husband, Tod) Phipps
of Muncie; his brother-in-law, Douglas (wife, Toni)
Newlin of Upland, IN; his grandson, Tae Lampkins of
Pendelton, IN; and several nieces and nephews. He will
be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and
Marcella (Ashcraft) Calvert.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday,
January 12th, 2005 at the PARSON MORTUARY with Pastor
Mike Halferty officiating. Interment will follow at
the Tomlinson Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday,
January 11th, 2005 at PARSON MORTUARY, 801 W. Adams St.
