I'm forwarding this on with a very strong "BUYER BEWARE" label attached as
I
know nothing of either the auctioneer nor the present owner of the listed
sword. You can view a photo of the sword on his site at

Subject: SWORD ONCED BELONGED TO LORD CALVERT
Hello There,
From the looks of your web site, it appears that some one there knows
a lot
about this Lord Calvert! I am an Auctioneer in Kansas City Mo. that has a up
coming auction featuring a 16 th Century Gentlemen's short sword that,
according to the present owner was made in England by the Sheffield Steel
Co. and has history in book tracking it back to this lord Calvert. I was
looking for buyers and want to know if anyone there would have an interest,
or could let me know of anyone who might. I am sure that it would be more of
an interest out east, but not sure who to contact. If anyone there has any
ideas please forward this e-mail on, the auction is next weekend, Sat
March 20th here in K.C.. The sale will be broadcast live at
www.naalive.com
<
http://www.naalive.com/> or they may see it at
