This is in reply to the inquiry about Shelt Calvert. I haven't read the thread, so I
hope it helps...
There is a Shelton Calvert in O'Gorman's book-- he was born about 1799. No wife
listed. It just said he went to Mo.
His parents were Francis (Frank) and Margaret (Hambrick) Calvert. One of his many
siblings, George, married a Frances Mayhew.
Shelton's father was married twice, first time to a woman identified only as being a
daughter of John Calvert Sr. (probably a cousin) and by his first wife he had 8 children,
but only 5 are named in the book.
By his second wife Margaret he had 12 more. A busy (and probably very tired) man.
Francis was born about 1759 in Prince William Co., Va. died before 1845 in Allen Co. Ky.
