I am a descendent of Martin & Elizabeth Cox Calvert m. Franklin Co, Ky.
He was suppose to be son of Elijah son of Rueben or George Calvert
according to O'Gorman research pg 124. I want to know if anyone can tell
me if Elijah is ever mention with his mother Sarah Calvert
Dial/Dyle/Doyle. Is there any record of the Doyle children who mentions
the Calvertd in Deed, Wills and etc? I want to get another DAR
supplemental Certificate based on Rueben's patriotic Service. Last
Certificate of membership gives Elijah as son of Rueben, but I want
documentation. The O'Gorum book gives the impression that Elijah became
Guardian's of brother Thomas children, but that is probably not accurate
because Elijah's son Thomas also died abt same time frame. Thomas his
brother wouldn't have had small children, would he? I will have to look
at this new book if we have it here in San Antonio, TX.

Hi Calvert cousins. Some of you may remember me asking abt the book ,
" The
Stones of Poynt (point in) Manor." Last night I received a call from
one of
our cousins, Steve Calvert. He found the book in the library in L.A.
while
on vacation. He copied the pages that have reference to the
Calvert's. He
also promised to copy and send it to me. (hurry hurry). The reason I
am so
excited is, George and I are clearly legitimate descendants of the
Lord
Baltimore's. (according to the book) It lists our George, George.
The book
pre-dates O'Gorman's by abt 10 years. As soon as I receive the
copies, I
will share them with the list.
