I have quite a bit of info on my Coker relatives, but I have run into a
brick wall
when it comes to my Calvert line. The only info I have on William Calvert
comes from his application to the Cherokee Nation (Cynthia J. Coker is on
the rolls),
which states that he was born in Edgar County, IL. to the parent of James
and Hattie Calvert.
Any information or help on how to continue will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Nick

Hi Nick,
The CALVERT/COKER connection you are researching is not mine. However,
I will check my records and see if I can find anything. I print out a
lot of stuff whether it is related to me or not.
The William CALVERT and Hettie RIGDON line that Barbara mentioned in her
e-mail are my ancestors. COKER is my husband's side and I haven't gone
back very far with it yet. I will contact some other people doing COKER
research and see if they know anything. I will be happy to send my
GEDCOM or a descendant's chart if you wish. Just let me know what you
want.
