Subject: [CALVERT] John CALVERT, born 1580 Great Moorsham, Skelton,
Yorkshire, England
My 10th G-Grandfather was John CALVERT, born 1580 Great Moorsham, Skelton,
Yorkshire, England, died 1617 Seagoe Parish, County Antrim, Ireland, and
presumed to be the brother of George CALVERT, the 1st Lord Baltimore, based
on the parents of my John CALVERT. My CALVERT line settled in PA in 1683
when John's son, Thomas & family, migrated to USA.
The parents I have for John CALVERT are Leonard CALVERT and Alicia (Grace)
CROSLAND [11th GG]. If this is correct, and based on data from other
reliable CALVERT researchers, George CALVERT was my 10th Great Grand Uncle.
I am trying to verify the siblings of John CALVERT and "brother" George,
sons of Leonard and Alicia (Grace) CALVERT [11th GG]. So far I have:
John 1580 (my line) Great Moorsham, Skelton, Yorkshire, England,
Christopher 1582 Kiplin, Yorkshire, England
Robert about 1584 Kiplin, Yorkshire, England
Mary about 1586 Kiplin, Yorkshire, England
George 1590 Kiplin, Yorkshire, England [First Lord Baltimore - MD]
I descend through John and Grace CALVERT [10th GG] whose children were:
Susanna 1601 Skelton, Yorkshire, England
Isabel 1605 Skelton, Yorkshire, England

John 1614 Lurgan, Seagoe Parish, County Armagh, Ireland
Margaret 1616 Lurgan, Seagoe Parish, County Armagh, Ireland
Thomas 1617 (my line) Lurgan, Seagoe Parish, County Armagh, Ireland
Then descend through Thomas CALVERT and Jane GLASFORD [9th GG] whose
children were:
John 1648 (my line) Stranmillis, Belfast, Ulster, Ireland
Ann(e) 1650 Kilwarlin, Hillsborough, County Down, Ireland
Margaret 1650 Kilwarlin, Hillsborough, County Down, Ireland
Margaret 1661 Kilwarlin, Hillsborough, County Down, Ireland
Elizabeth 1664 Kilwarlin, Hillsborough, County Down, Ireland
Then descend through John CALVERT and Judith (Ruth) STAMPER [8th GG], and
based on family history, were Quakers, whose children were:
Ruth 1674 (my line) Lurgan, County Armagh, Ireland
Isaiah 1676 Lurgan, County Armagh, Ireland
Isaac 1676 Lurgan, County Armagh, Ireland
Thomas 1678 Lurgan, County Armagh, Ireland

Daniel 1685 Pennsylvania, USA
Mary 1686/87 Cumberland Co, Pennsylvania, USA
John about 1689 ?Orange Co, VA?
Judith 1690 Cumberland Co, Pennsylvania, USA
Then my descendancy is through Ruth CALVERT and
Edward PAVIOR/PAVIOUR/PAVER [7th GG], and their daugther Elizabeth PAVIOR
who married William DAVIS, a Quaker who migrated to Pennsylvania 1684,
acontemporay of William Penn. She was his second wife. William DAVIS was
born 1663 in Wales. I also descend through his first wife, Elizabeth
BRISLEY/BRINLEY, assume Quaker, daugther of Luke BRINLEY/BRISLEY/BRINDLEY
[8th GG] who migrated to PA aboard "Friend's Adventure", if true, 1682
settling in Bucks Co, PA. William DAVIS and first wife Elizabeth
