We are currently in the signup phase of the project for the Calvert DNA
group study. We estimate that we have between 14 and 17 Y-DNA
participants. If you are interested in this type of study, you can contact
me directly or you can join our Yahoo group at the address below.
The Y-DNA sample will need to be supplied by a male with the surname
Calvert. This sample can be supplied by someone other than yourself, such
as a brother, father, uncle, cousin (1st or distant), grandfather, etc., as
long as the surname is Calvert.
Anyone who is interested can help with the group study. Participation,
other than providing a DNA sample, might include paying for a test,
finding a distant male cousin that could represent your line for testing,
or providing a documented genealogy.
