I'm sorry I don't have more. This is something I saw somewhere and copied.
I thought you might want to look into some of these references. My
relationship is lateral through Leonard so I have not done any research of
this part of the family.

Matteson.
the only Joseph Chapline that I found was born in 1707 and if his sons
were
petitioning Lord Baltimore anytime after 1715, it would have been
Charles,
5th Lord Baltimore.
Obviously I am missing something here. Help
