hi shannon
i was responding to query about rusha so that u would get what i have.
the cross eyed gent is Arthur clay most likely. he had 1 photo that was
terribly cross-eyed but i think he had both a lazy eye and at the time
had been hit in the eye with a piece of metal from oil rig.
Clarence Webster was killed at the calvert bar in silver hill in a fight
being hit in the head with a board that had a nail in it. There is one
other story on this which says pitchfork but that i don't believe is
true.
Barbara Joseph (Kathleen's daughter) verified this for me as did the
lemasters in Wetzel and bryce Pyles who lives there in summers but now
winters in FLA.
I don't know if you have been actively researching but I have posted
at
genealogy.com my premise of ancestry beyond Thomas C, b 1774, m
anna ewing, father of Thomas Clare(Clair) father of Albert Gallatin, your grandfather 3
times removed. I am sure u have this.
If you photo copy and fax photos i can probably highlight who is who.
I know quite a bit from Mom who gave up research perhaps 6-7 years ago.
Both barbara and myself are looking for the Calvert scroll or roll which existed in
Arthur's trunk in the 1920s. he gave it to one of his brothers and it disappeared. I
think one of your line had it after
but it has disappeared. Also, if you know of or have photo of John Ewing's watch I
would like to obtain that. I have many photos from
the family, including Rusha with Chester Feiss. Arthur with 3 children
of his marriage to Lena Ensinger and some I haven't id'd yet. I am
starting to get these old photo's scanned and online. slow process as their are
perhaps 200 or so and that is just calverts.
R u still in OK?
best regards,
David Bell add this mail addr to your email. soon i will end
the ev1 acct as i am being spammed so badly that it is a travesty.
