Mason White was a son of Mary CALVERT and John WHITE. I visited the
cemetery a week after 9/11/2001.
I appreciate your directions to the cemetery as when I was there I
had just come down with the flu and if it wasn't for the photos we
took and a daily journal I wouldn't remember much of that trip. Of
course I am always looking for the parents of sister and brother,
Jesse and Mary CALVERT and hope that the DNA project will turn up
descendents of Jesse.

Good morning.
While wandering through a graveyard searching for Calverts,
yesterday 5/2/09, I came across Jesse Calvert d.
4-21-1863. Headstone states he was 85. Found behind [on north side]
the Burn Factory Methodist Church on a road of the same name, west
of Stephenson about three miles, in Frederick County, Virginia - 5
miles northeast of Winchester, Va.
An e-mail statement you sent to "Audrey Rolando" in 2007 indicated
Jesse's sister Mary had wed John White.
Near, but not in the same row, were three other headstones, each
bearing inscriptions,
Mary White,
'unreadable'
1823, aged 52 years
For many years she was a member of M.E. Church
"Gone but not forgotten"
To her left was John White

In his 84th year
Member of the M.E. Church
Left of John Mason White

Age 24
Blessed are the Dead that
die in the land.
I am a descendent of Robert Calvert 1767, thru Amos T. Calvert, and
then Amos Ellsworth Calvert.
This family lived in Frederick County, Virginia in the early 1700's
before moving through West Virginia, and on into Ohio.
It would appear from my records that Jesse isn't a member of my family.
I felt the need to record the information about the White family,
along with the Jesse Calvert information, probably because I have
some White family members in my Tree. But it was whimsy and I have
not had the opportunity to determine whether they matter to me.
