Subject: [PAWASHIN] Calvert Will (3rd attempt!!)
Good Day, All:
I have recently gained possession of a copy of the Will of Mrs. Alma Teresia
Calvert. I have no connection to Mrs. Calvert and am gladly seeking to pass
this on. I am, of course, not interested in making any gain of this.
Please feel free to pass this email on. Responders, please do not reply via
PAWASHIN or PAGREENE. Instead, use fmarasco53(a)hotmail.com and PLEASE PUT
“CALVERT WILL” IN THE SUBJECT LINE so I can easily determine the sender is
legitimate.
Thank You,
Floyd Marasco

Here are some particulars to identify Mrs. Calvert:
I do not know Mrs. Calvert’s maiden name nor her husband. She died August
24, 1981. I believe she died in Hollywood, FL. Mr. Maurice Landen was
appointed to execute her estate. His address (then): 1747 Van Buren St.,
Suite 940, Hollywood, FL 33020.
She bequeathed her home to Julia Hoellen and Carin Carlson, then both of
Hollywood, Fl. The house was located at 805 North 31st Av in Hollywood, FL.
Others named are:
Bertil Salomonsson, Frida Johansson, Ingeborg Johansson and Thyra Johansson,
then, all of Sweden.
The family of Kuhn Calvert; Lakta Calvert, Homer Calvert, Ruben Calvert,
Carl Calvert (he, then of Henderson, TX) and Tish Brookover (she, then of
Henderson, TX).
The children of Opal Hooks; Amanda Bland (she, then of Mannington, WV) and
Delphia Heater (she, then of Lorain, Ohio).
The children of Rhoda Christ; Bertie Showalter (then of Los Angeles, CA).
The will is attested by 3 people. Two of them appear to be of the Law Firm:
Cindy Clark (then, of Hollywood, FL) and James Catania, Atty (also, then of
Hollywood, FL). The third is an Anton Carlson (he, then of Hollywood, FL).
The copy of the will in my possession was originally sent to Lorraine
Clayton Sharp, then, of RD 6, Washington, PA. That letter was dated
September 22, 1981 and was sent by the Law Offices of James Catania,
Hollywood, FL. The letter indicates that Lorraine Clayton Sharp is a
recipient named as an heir in this will, but I do not see the name “Lorraine
Clayton Sharp” appear anywhere in it.
Mrs. Calvert evidently bore no descendants, as none are named as such. It
appears that her husband preceded her in death.
The Will was probated by the Broward County (FL) Circuit Court
210 SE 6th St.
Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301
It is file number 81-4545 in the division of (then) Robert W. Tyson, Jr.
The Law Offices of James Catania were then located at:
1747 Van Buren St. Suite 910
Hollywood, FL 33020
