Assuming this quote from Foster's work is verbatim, interesting he would not have
mentioned Cecil his first son, in addition to Leonard and George.

The only reference I can offer is from James W Foster, George Calvert: The Early Years, p.
35, on which is mentioned the marriage and that the sons were named Leonard, Calvert and
George.
The references for this information were from Sir William Dugdale, Visitation of
Yorkshire, 1655 with Additions, edited by J W Clay, III, 492-493 and James Raine, "A
Notice of Henry Jenkins", Yorkshire Archaeological and Topographical Journal, I
(1870), 129 - 130.
I hope you have contacted Christopher Smithson in Port Deposit, MD - the previous post
with local address as he seems to have the information you seek on the Smithsons.
