Vicki, I am out here.? I have been on the list for many years but not actively taking part.? More of a lurker.? I do not know who the moderator was but was she the person who had a Calvert website?? I seem to remember something about that.? I too had a computer crash this last fall and lost most of my links.? Does anyone else remember that website?? It might help us with this problem.? Or is the owner still on here?? I want to think her name was something like Cynthia but not sure about that either.? Let's do a roll call.
I am Beverly Sullivan from Marion, AR
My Calvert line is from Leonard Calvert - Anne Brent
William Calvert - Mary Elizabeth Stone
George Calvert - Elizabeth Doyne (not positive on that last name)
George Calvert - Constant
William Calvert - Hannah Harrison
Landon Calvert - Anne Wood Howison
William Howison? Calvert - Lavinia Anne Stratton
Lavinia Jane Calvert - Hansbury Dickerson Turner
George Bedford Turner - Henrietta Candace Davis
Ruby Sydney Turner - Walter Moore
Margaret Lois Moore - Richard Avery Park
Beverly Park Sullivan
Anyone else want to join in?? Maybe we can find cousins this way.? Worth a try.? And it may get our list going again.? Bev.

Subject: [CALVERT] Hello Everyone
Does anyone know who the moderator for the Calvert list is? Has anyone
been on the list since it started? Anyone who remembers the lady from
Hawaii who was descended from Francis Calvert and Margaret Hambrick?
If I hadn't had a couple of crashes over the years I would have the
data. Not good abt making backups. Lets see some activity on the list.
My line:
Vicki K. Calvert
Arvin Woodrow Calvert
Steven Bennett Calvert
William Culbertson Calvert
Reuben Collins Calvert
Bennett Gray Calvert
Thomas Calvert
Reuben Calvert (then the line gets iffy)
I'll be glad to share anything I have. will help when I can.
ANYBODY OUT THERE??? Vicki K

Mary, the person who origionaly started the Calvert list was an ancestor of Francis and Margaret Hambrick. She lived in Hawaii and turned the list over to someone else. I haven't seen her post in years. Maybe someone else on the list will remember her. I can't even think of the name of the person who has the list now? Old timers.... Vicki K

I am trying to find out who Francis Calvert's father was. Francis was born in Va somewhwere between 1754-1759
and died before 1845 in allen co, Kentucky. Thank you. M shafer
Hello M,
Is Francis a male or female? The name spelled this way is usually a man's name. Now looking on Ancestry.com there are plenty of females with their names spelled like this also. Do you know the name of Francis' mother, spouse, children? This might help in searching. Have you tried Ancestry yet?

Some of our Calvert family moved to Iowa. I don't remember people names or towns. You can check my family tree if you wish. Good luck. I have been trying to track down Alfred Calvert b. 1817 PA and moved to IL sometime between 1850 and 1860. Not having much luck so far.
