Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Dorothy:
Could you send a descent brief for the line via Safrona? What we are trying to determine is if anyone knows who Edwards father is, not just
rumor or legend or if someone has a likely candidate? Several family researchers have been working on this puzzle for the past week because by happenstance I met Robert Calvert of Atoka over the phone and that started the ball rolling.
The exchange is taking place at Calvert_Genealogy which is a Yahoo group that accompanies the Calvert surname DNA project at FT/DNA. If you would like to visit and see where this started from and the others who are family descendants, take a peak at the discussion.
I am myself not related to this line though I am the coordinator for the Calvert DNA project, hence I get involved in all of the Calvert research to one extent or another.
My email is daipdq(a)juno.com
the yahoo group is: Groups.yahoo.com/Calvert_Genealogy
The FTDNA site is: wwww.familytreedna.com.
If you know a male descendant that is willing to participate in the DNA project, let me know.
