Hi cousin!
I just received your message from the ancestry message boards.
I believe that your grandfather and my grandfather were brothers. My grandfather was Leonard Calvert. They called them Nord and Len. Are you getting information from Aunt Bernice's book?
I dropped that message on the message boards months ago, it is great to hear from a relative. What are your parents names and where do you live?
I'm in Colorado, my mother is Marla (Calvert) Bittinger. I'm sure our parents know of each other.
- Dan Bittinger.

Looking for this line of the family.
Thomas Furniss 1821-1868 m Mary Blackburn, 8 children, one son John 1857-1918 m (unknown) in St John's Rastrick. Had 7 children Edith, Thomas Edwin, Robert Harold,Hilton, Maggie, George and my Grandmother Mary Matilda 1881 who married William Craven Calvert who came from Slaithwaite and had a chemist shop in Slaithwaite and later in Settle Yorks. William's father was Henry Craven Calvert 1827 m to a Susanah. Looking for any information on the Craven Calvert line.
Dear Susan,
I do a lot of Quaker and Cherokee research and your surname Robinson is one I
research. I am wondering if you have Cherokee blood and if you do from which
of your lines. I know that Quakers and Cherokees intermarried a lot and am
wondering if you could give me any sources for looking further into this
subject.
I have Calvert, Harlan, Heald, Hollingsworth, Jordan, Snow and other
Quaker/Cherokee surnames in my tree but have yet to prove a Cherokee
ancestor. I do know that I have it though--I think I look part Cherokee, I
have type A blood, sugar intolerance and really resonate with Native American
music.
